Hmm felt like having lemon sorbet today!
Mom indulged me and we went to Haagen Daaz for ice cream! Yay!
Oh and we went to some place called Gelare along east coast road for more ice cream and waffles!
My sis ate up everything! Sigh... =)

The moon's beautiful today.. a single bright golden orb in a dark sky with grey clouds...
now I know why wolves howl to the moon....

And the soft dusk wind caresses my hair,
the night breeze is a sweet kiss on my cheek...

You're still my sun and stars.....

Hi guys,

Let's talk about today. I woke up late. Got to Paragon for flag day 15 mins late. Sigh. The actual money collecting wasnt too bad. I managed to fill the tin in about 2 hours. Then I went off to Borders to read a book. They ran out of most of the D&D books, so I read the Ravenloft Campaign Setting. Its really a fantastic campaign setting based on gothic horror, crime & punishment, justice & injustice, and most of mankind's fears. Its really an examination of the brutality, perversity, desires and flaws of man. For people who know about D&D, Ravenloft should not be too unfamiliar... except that evil pervades most of the realm, and its very easy and rewarding to become evil and corrupted. Yet each crime has its ultimate punishment. The various sections of the realm of Ravenloft are ruled by entities known as darklords. What's interesting about these darklords is that they are both ruler and prisoner of their realms. They are punished by the Dark Powers, granted power and dominion, but confined to their realms, and what's more...they have eternal undead lives... an eternity for them to reflect on their mistakes and flaws. Many of them do not repent... they just become even more evil and perveted by their rewards...or punishments. For those who read Dragonlance, Lord Soth briefly became a dreadlord, but managed to escape. And the main antangonist of the campaign is a shadowy character named Count Strahd. He earned his final punishment by murdering his brother to steal his(brother's) fiance. He was transformed to a vampire, forever dependent on others for his "life", and forever haunted by the spirit of the woman, who committed suicide after witnessing the terrible murder. Certainly not pleasant. Tragic, though. As I said, its an examination of the basest instincts of humankind.... I guess none of u will like it. Not even Blackjik.

After the flag day ended, I went to pool with Mike and Alec. Its only my second time pooling actually, so I was quite amazed that I could actually hit the ball with the cue. Of course, that's not to say I'm terribly good at it. I screwed up a large no. of shots. And i managed to "suicide black" myself thrice by either chucking the black ball in the wrong hole or chucking it at the wrong time. Mike managed to suicide himself on a second shot though, so I won't complain =P.

Still, the weariness in me refuses to subside. Gosh it’s hard trying to put on a smile nowadays. My face nearly cracked this morning when I was smiling at all these people making donations. It’s not that hard when I’m with friends… but they have their own lives to live… and there’s no reason why I should bother them with my problems right… Haha maybe u guys will say that I’m not a loyal friend cos I don’t wanna tell u guys everything… I sometimes do… but words refuse to come out of my mouth… and I have this phobia of making people feel bad because of what I say… I have this really bad history of shooting my mouth off. If you’re really very concerned about something just drop me a msg or call me I guess. Sorry…

Someone told me very recently that I was overreacting to something I said. Sigh I really don’t know. Its been troubling me for the whole of today…and last night… probably that’s why I woke up so late…couldn’t get to sleep. Do you guys think I overreact sometimes? Xiao3 ti2 da4 zuo4? Make a mountain out of a molehill? Perhaps I already am by doing this…Sigh sorry…sometimes when I make my feelings about certain issues known it blows up in my face. It happened once already. Perhaps it has again. Guess that’s why I don’t like to be so frank about what I think about people. Yeah sure, I’ll comment on anyone’s outward behaviour…but sometimes I can see deeper than that, and ermm not everything is nice. Or even acceptable, particularly to the person involved. Again, no rocks being thrown at anybody. It’s a general comment. See? I’ve done it again. I wish I could just speak my mind without fear sometimes… Wish I didn’t have to wish for it.

I don’t know how to treat people sometimes. My perceptions and feelings about people are very unconventional or strange sometimes. I’ve lost faith in the general population, yes, but I haven’t given up on them. Sound strange? It does even to me.

Sigh anyway tell me what u guys think ok. Its really important that I find out.

Ok I just thought of something that Jik could talk about on his blog… How much are you like the five colours of magic. Don’t count lands and artifacts I guess. Unless ur telling me ur inanimate. But perhaps it’d be best to start by explaining what the five colours are about. They embodify different aspects of magic, and each has their own philosophy, style and ideals.

Red is the colour of passion, speed, fury and freedom. Its basically a colour of chaos where the aim of its practitioners is to achieve their goals as quickly as they can, mostly through violent and direct means. Thus, red gets a lot of spells that deal damage and summons a lot of creatures that deal as much damage as they can, but sputter out eventually. The first thing people think about when they think red is fire. Well, there’s lightning and dragons as well. Red likes to do things the way it likes, and absolutely hates being restricted or controlled. In my opinion, the quote that explains red the best is probably from seal of fire. “I am the romancer, the passion that consumes the flesh.” Make of it what you will.

Green is the colour of nature, growth and the untamed. Like red, it hates being controlled and restrained. Mostly, while red deals with emotions, Green deals with instincts. Many of its creatures are beasts or animals, or elves and druids. Green enjoys simplicity and doesn’t have too much room for devious plotting or low cunning. It basically wants to beat the living daylights out of anyone threatening it with as much force as is possible. Thus, many of its creatures are the biggest in the game, easily dwarfing other creatures. Being the colour of nature and growth, it also respects natural cycles and life. Anything that disrupts this cycle is an abomination and must be destroyed. Oh yes, and green spells mostly focus on increasing the size of even the smallest creature. Yes, there are even squirrels to recruit into your army. The best way to describe green is perhaps through its art. One green card, called Might of Oaks, shows a squirrel towering over the treetops, easily four to five times their height.

Black is the colour of selfish desires and controlled malevolence and destruction. The black mage aims to increase his power through any means necessary. Sometimes, he cripples his opponent. Sometimes he kills them. Sometimes, he sacrifices a bit of his own life force to ensure his victory. It doesn’t matter. As long as it works, he’ll do it. That’s why black has the most sacrificial creatures. Never mind about honour or noble goals. He knows what he wants. Everything else can go to hell. He’ll give them a hand. Black isn’t about brute force like red. Everything the black mage does is planned and orchestrated to reap his maximum benefit. Thus, black is unlike red, because while the hatred is still there, the black mage has the patience and control to bide his time and kill as slowly and painfully as he can. And black is also the colour of corruption. It will pervert and twist and warp. It doesn’t mind bringing back creatures from the grave. In fact, that’s a huge strategy of black. To epitomize black, there are many “soul contract” spells. There’s corrupt, which leeches an opponent’s life force to feed black’s own. But the best quote, in my opinion, comes from a card called execute. “Any fool who would die for honour is better off dead.”

Blue is the colour of absolute control, trickery and study. Blue takes his own sweet time to achieve his aims, preferring to take a passive role in any confrontation. It does not really like direct confrontation, preferring to negate threats before they exist. Thus, it attempts to counter spells. Blue likes to be in complete control of his situation. He will achieve this by making sure that no one gets a spell in edgewise. And to make sure he can do that, he will refuel his arsenal through study, or card drawing. Thus, he’ll usually win over the long run, for he can slowly but surely run his opponent out of options. Blue is also the colour of devious trickery and thievery. It changes spell targets to create trouble for its caster. Blue cannot kill creatures directly. Instead, it prefers to take control of them. Cards like Bribery, Persuasion, Treachery and Blatant Thievery are good examples. Thus, it reduces the enemy’s resources while increasing its own, another philosophy of blue. Blue mages like to do interesting things with their minds. They might peer into their future, plagarize other magi’s thoughts, read their minds, or basically win by sheer volume of knowledge(battle of wits). The blue mage likes to win intellectually, not by brute force. Thus, one of the common ways for blue to win is to strip an opponent of his mind, hence decking him. To express blue, I guess we have concentrate. Its shows some guy using his brains to think. And the quote is “any worldly reward is nothing compared to the reward in my mind”.

White is the colour of law, duty, grace and reason. It is concerned with rules, honour, peace and the extermination of evil. It believes in balance and equality, and most importantly life and purity. Thus it enjoys the support of celestial creatures like angels and unicorns/ pegasi. Most of your knights and soldiers are white, because of their discipline and ideals. White believes in not actively destroying others, acting only when provoked. Thus, it is not as efficient at killing as black or red. White also believes in community spirit, so many of its creatures heal or protect each other, to ensure mutual survival and benefit. And mostly, white resents any breaking of its rules. It will always create rules for people to follow, like taxing or non-violence. As most things white does is symmetrical, the white mage quickly learns not to over-extend. For instance, wrath of god destroys all creatures in play. Not just the opponent’s, but any of your own hapless servants who happen to be in the way as well. White plays fair, which is a great weakness, sometimes. However, it does get angry, and when it does, it will usually have crusades of little white men or big flying angels screaming down on the offender. And since white likes to help its own guys become better, there are many “pump” enchantments that make creatures deadlier and tougher. White is also the master of astral travel. It has effects that briefly shift other cards out of play, before returning them back into play. The card that best expresses white is perhaps worship. “Believe in the ideal, not the idol”. Ok, perhaps the card Balance does it better. The flavour is that everyone goes down to the same number of lands, creatures and hand size, in effect a reset. The problem is that many people would just work around the rules and work it to their advantage. I guess that’s fair too, in a twisted sorta way.

Well, now that I’ve said all of that, I feel that I’m mostly white and blue, with a good measure of red in me. Very little black or green though. I like winning intellectually, not physically. I hate being restrained by people. And I try to follow rules and be honourable and all that stuff. So yeah… tell me if u disagree…

Hope u enjoyed the discourse…
Pls give lots of comments!

Your still my sun and stars…

Sigh... what's going wrong with me? I've just told off someone who means a lot to me. And a few others too. These few days I've really been telling ppl off a lot... Is it because of my frustrations or because they needed saying a long time ago and only just started surfacing on the iced lake that is me. I just hope I don't lose any of u when this is all over... If I hurt any of u in any way when I talked to u, pls forgive and try and understand that while it's just my point of view, I really mean every word. I've not the skill to make them sound nicer.

What started off as a pretty happy day has ended in a dramatic reversal of fortunes. Thanks in no small part to my stupid father, who doesn’t understand the concept of a holiday. Or chatting. Of friends, for that matter. He’s kicked me off ICQ thrice when I was either having an argument or talking heart to heart stuff. Sometimes it gets so hard to love him I don’t feel like loving him anymore. Ah well I guess I’ll get over it. Just another stake in my iron maiden. Another nail on my coffin. Since when has that stopped me from going on with my sad existence?

Sometimes the wisest people are mistaken for the most cynical. Sometimes, however, the wisest people ARE the most cynical. Most often of all, the cynical people are just not wise. Period. I’ve known all three types. Wise, cynical and wise, and just plain cynical. Don’t bother trying to categorize urself. It doesn’t work. U can’t tell if ur wise. And sometimes u tink ur cynical or smart but u aren’t. Don’t take offence. I’m not aiming this at anyone in particular.

Hmm lets talk about some happy stuff. summon positive energy. * mana short. Ah well lame jokes aside, I guess today was quite ok. I mean the first aid course ended successfully today, with my First Aid Cert in the bag. Really glad that I managed to pass, considering that I didn’t even touch my notes until the morning before the test. This morning, in fact. The stupid examiner was a real bugger. He made me perform the Heimlich maneuver on Daryl in front of the class by way of introduction to the exam. Then he proceeds to make some comments about how I was scaring the living shit out of Daryl because I forgot to identify myself as a first aider before performing the maneuver on him. Ok it might make sense if I was actually trying to un-choke him, but this was a demo on the maneuver, not the rescue… or so I thought. The test itself was pretty tough. Jeez. First he declares that Daryl broke his ribs and I’d have to tend to him. I had to use FIVE bandages AND give him an arm sling. Took me 10 minutes before he was satisfied. Then I found out some girls got the scenario “got a cut under the lip”. The correct answer was apply a plaster. I had to mummify Daryl and they got to apply a plaster??!! Where’s the justice? I took this with good humour though, cos it was kinda amusing when the 2 girls turned up with two bandages wrapped around their heads when applying a plaster would do. Oh and then when we switched over I got a gash under my eye. Daryl wrapped me up like I was Cyclops. Then he tells us a simple eyepatch like captain hook’s would do. Sheesh. Haha and it was really amazing when he told Ting Leong that Fan Rui had a gash on the neck. Their padding didn’t work. For some obscure reason, they also had to apply an elevation(arm) sling. Hahaha. Then we had to go do CPR. This was pretty scary too… Haha I laughed my head off when he gave some nightmare scenarios. The casualty lying in a burning building etc etc. There was one where casualty puked over the rescuer. What do you do then? Yes. That was part of the test.

I nearly fell off the chair when Yi Lin and Li Fang did their tests. It took them a lot of effort to actually compress the mannequins’ chests. Sigh then it was up to me and Daryl again. He started the whole show with us, so he figured that he might as well end it that way! Jeez. So we two got to demo our “Excellent” CPR skills in front of everyone else. Jeez. He made us do so many cycles that we thought we would die. Then he told us that the “casualties” still had no pulse after 5 mins. Then no more for another five. Jeez. Then he proceeds to tell us that the guy probably died, cos he had no bloody pulse for 10 mins. Sigh. Then we turned back time and somehow we had to repeat a cycle of CPR, after which the casualty miraculously survived. Groan. I was so nervous he scolded me for managing to break the casualty’s ribs. Sigh. But I guess all this was to make a point. And to teach us something. So no hard feelings there! Anyway since I passed I’m pretty pleased. I’m even more pleased that I got to make some new friends! At last! Now I have more contacts! More numbers in my phonebook! Now to figure out how am I going to drag myself out of bed for flag day tomorrow!

The Corrs- All the Love in the World.
I'm not looking for someone to talk to
I've got my friends, I'm more than okay
I've got more than a girl could wish for
I live my dreams, but it's not all they say

Still I believe
I'm missing something real
I need someone who really sees me

Don't want to wake up alone anymore
Still believing you'll walk through my door
All I need is to know it's for sure
Then I'll give all the love in the world

I've often wondered if love's an illusion
Just to get you through the loneliest days
I can't criticize it, I had no hesitations
My imagination just stole me away

Still I believe
I'm missing something real
I need someone who really sees me

Don't want to wake up alone anymore
Still believing you'll walk through my door
All I need is to know it's for sure
Then I'll give all the love in the world

Love's for a lifetime
Not for a moment
So how can i throw it away
I'm only human
And nights grow colder
With no one to love me that way

I need someone who really sees me

And I won't wake up alone anymore
Still believing you'll walk through my door
You'll reach for me and I'll know it's for sure
Then I'll give all the love in the world…

Gosh… I made myself sound pathetic again… Ah well… The open secrets are the best….

I read this quote today…”When the sun has set, all the candles in the world cannot take its place.”

You’re still my sun and stars….

Hey guys,

I'm actually quite happy tonight!! For a change. I conveniently divided time into 3 categories. Ok times, Bad times and Worst times. Today's ok times! Yay! Haha of course there's this little voice at the back of my cynical little head telling me that it won't last. I have no doubts its right. If it lasted it wouldn't be real.

Hmm I went for first aid course again today. It's actually kinda enjoyable, despite my constant moaning and groaning. I mean ok its boring when we talk about hyperventilation and "pulmonary failure" and "opening airways", but the rest of it's actually pretty interesting. The instructor is this cool young guy called Stephen who is fulla lame jokes like dgco. He was talking about how sometimes there'd be cracking sounds when u did CPR and thats cos you broke some guy's ribs. He then says its ok cos its better if he breaks a few ribs than he dies right? Ok that didnt sound so funny...u'd have to be there to get it. Oh yeah and he was telling us about the appendix and how useless it was. If it's there, it does nothing. If it's not there, there's trouble. So an appendix exists to do nothing. And if there's a pain in ur lower torso, it can only be 3 things. 1. Stomachache. 2. Menstrual Cramps. 3. Appendicitis. Since guys don't have no 2, i guess its a 50-50 huh. And he tells racist jokes too! Oh and he's quite fun too... He plays lame games with us like "Johnny woosh", "around the world in eighty days", "bang bang bang who's dead" and "what time is it". He gives us plenty of breaks too. I can't recall many trainers who actually make me look forward to lessons! Oh and the practicals are quite fun too. We get to do lots of CPR. For you sickos who have weird ideas, we do it on a mannequin. With a 1 way valve and a breath mask. I can just imagine it... Some guy's lying stone dead on the floor and I frantically dig my pockets for a valve and a breath mask to give him CPR. Hahaha =P. Oh and we get to play with triangular bandages! its so much fun! You can do an awesome number of things with one bandage. We can even make a head wrap with it. Ok thats not the correct term but its supposed to keep ur wound from bleeding too much and to make sure u survive smashes to ur head. Hahaha we looked like a bunch of Sikhs after that. And it was really really funny when u see girls with ponytails trying to do the head wrap thingy!

I met quite a few new people and renewed my acquaintances with some others during this lesson. I can't really remember how long it's been since I actually made some new friends, but its a warm and fuzzy feelin! I met some guys like Darryl, Seng Han and some new girls even. Yi Lin and Li Fang. Cool. It turns out not everyone is dao and/or total jerks! Though there are plenty of those arnd! Hahaha. Actually I’m happier than during the school days where just seeing my classmates would annoy me. Yes, I realized that they annoy me! I just look at them and the expression on my face goes sour! Hahaha. I must be on crack today! Oh yeah and stupid Alec and Weili asked me to come up halfway during the course so they could niao me about damage on the stack Why do you two and Mak always gang up on me? I’m a sad sod la.. happy… =P

Hmm… for those who are interested to know, damage on the stack has been resolved with a token 1 damage prevented by force bubble. I feel somewhat happier today cos I said things I should have said a long time ago I guess…and though the answers were not the best I hoped for, I think that the fact I got some answers at all was pretty good! Yay! Oh and I’ve been told not to think too much. And the best part is now I can go back to being normal with her again. Thanks Mike, XQ and Em!

Hmm what else… Oh yeah about lousy lunches. I’ve been eating all sorts of crap for lunch these two days… First it was magehaven lunch, cos there wasn’t enough space at cosy or Tenderfresh. Today was a little better.. I actually managed to get tenderfresh lunch! Not that it was particularly nice, but I guess it beats rancid oil food anyday right? =). Notice I’m smiling a lot!

Hmm I tink I screwed up today’s fac com interview. I was trying to think how I’m like a lemon. I answered I was sour but juicy and full of good stuff! Then I got asked why I said I was sour and I replied that I could very caustic and bitter sometimes. Its not easy to chew down all that I say ..haha. Oh and Herng Huei asked me to do some thing to impress him… I didn’t sing or dance or cheer. I thought that that was meaningless. I just told him that if he needed people to work. I’m here. And that all the cheering and laughing and glamour was useless in the end if behind the scenes, no one worked. And I thought that was what counted. I don’t think he liked that, but I really felt that it’s shallow to do something stupid and inane for 2 mins just to impress them. I don’t think I’m gonna get in, cos I was kinda blunt when I said that S6 sucked in spirit this year and well…not to be insulting and no offence or anything, but at the end of the day, Herng Huei is a guy. There are gonna be lots of girls in this year’s fac com. Not that they’re lousy…but….

Hmm reading Jik’s memories make me feel so sentimental again. I was once informed that Secondary school friends are for life, and friends in JC have an expiry date of 2 years. I realized that to a great extent this is true. Many relationships are false and no more than wisps of silk floating in the wind compared to the strong boughs of the tree we planted and nurtured in sec 3 and 4. I realized that friendship is like a tree. You put a seed, you put fertilizer, and you water it in the beginning. If at the burgeoning stages of its growth you neglect it, it dies. If you water it too much, it also dies. It takes time for friendship to grow. It doesn’t pop up instantly like in cartoons or some child’s fantasy. It will not look pretty at the start, but it certainly will be promising. After a while the tree will start to blossom and bud, and you will have received a reward for your labours. You won’t need to constantly prune and water the tree at this point. It takes care of itself. The trust between you and your pal is so great that you don’t need to proclaim anything, you don’t have to put in effort for the friendship to work. It comes naturally. And eventually, the tree will branch; you will share many parts of your lives together, and you will reach for the skies. That’s why I particularly liked the poster I got about living this moment… It’s the one with very nice trees in it, cos it reminds me of my friends!

Let me add some of my own recollections to the mix. I’ll be focusing on the people, since Jik was talking about all the events, but I’ll add a few to the mix. Haha Jik you forgot about all the bonding sessions we had. At first it was just DG, but then we started on Doug and Jamin and Xuan You. Haha. It was real fun when we started barricading the doors. And making a fortress with the chairs and tables! Oh and the time I’d solo dg was pretty fun too! And the time in sec 3 where I smashed him through the door! That was bloody hilarious! Not to mention we were never caught! Hahahaha. Hmm and remember the time Flong gave us remedial up till 5? And those who stayed felt cheated cos Mak got all the answers in 5 mins by surfing the net while she took 4 hours to teach? Haha and about the asymptotes =).

And I remember the times where we would zap each other during assembly. That was pretty funky. After they installed the aircons we would zap each other incessantly in class =). Shocking. And the times we would eat the toxic noodles and hope we didn’t die… And the time doug got friend wantons in his soup wanton mee and they were all soggy and wet. =). Hahah and we got scolded for having KOF tourneys in class!

The capteh chronicles!!! Hahah I remember I’d just stand on the line and gravity would attract the capteh to me and I’d just tap it in! And the times we tried to do the “wu3 xia2” serve… =). Haha and the times Danny kicked the capteh out…Too many to count! And the times where the capteh would magically land on ur head while u were writing your zuo4 wen2… hahahaha. I’m on a high today man!

Remember the little iSpark farewell party our juniors gave us.. The one where we spent 2 hours jamming at coro, coming back late? The one where we got these really cool handmade photo frames? The one where they were passing the testimonial questionnaire around? Haha. It seemed so insignificant compared to the real graduation, but it was really really cool nonetheless!

Hmm now I shall move on to talk about teachers!

Yang- She was really cool, remember? She had this really nice kimono picture from a time she was thin! And we thought that it wasn’t her! Hahah. Oh and she’d bring an umbrella down to assembly everytime cos she was scared of the sun. And she’d hide behind me or Ywee Ern sometimes cos she forgot her umbrella. And remember on f-day, she’d go off to the toilet at 12.00(supposedly to meet Gopal). She had PMS sometimes and would just scold us, but most of the time, she was really really nice!!

Laurang- Oh she was even nicer! Some of us had her since sec 2, and there’s no other teacher that was so kai fang. Hahah I tink she fell off her NY girls a little and started liking us better than them =). Oh and the times she’d get angry and scold us for absolutely nothing cos she was so stressed. I didn’t understand it at the time, but now I realized that she had a lot of stress at the time. And the times she would wear her imac outfit, and gossip to us in class about all the happenings of the staffroom. =). And the way we bullied her. Hahahah.

Ooi- Grins she was quite ok as a teacher. She’d keep asking me to go to her house to do Maths, and I’d promptly refuse cos her house is in Kent Ridge and I live in Katong. The times where we would do mountains and mountains of sums…And I remember the diagnostic test she gave us which I screwed up totally! But at the end I was really appreciative of her teaching cos I got my double A1s!
Gwee- Gwee was cool! Haha she used to scold me about being Moui and writing stuff in my geog essays! I thought they made sense ok! But ermm evidently Gwee didn’t tink so so ermm.. I got ermm some pretty bad comments! And the time in sec 2 where she told Alec’s parents that he was going out with some gangsters. Incidentally these gangsters were me Mak and Mike. Hahahah. Oh and her dress code of all trousers no sleeve shirts was pretty funny.. Particularly the ironing board shirt! And she was always pretty sharp and witty, and very focused! Haha and when she would always catch Jik when Danny was the one talking or doing homework in class!

Letchmi- haha another very sharp teacher. She was also very caustic.. nothing much funny to say about letchmi, except that we thought of the worst nicknames for her.. Pornosamy, letchem.. etc etc. And she would always tell us we sucked at chem., and that would always make us work harder, cos in truth we did suck at chem.! Haha and her crapticals were always quite fun!

THC- Hoho physics was always funny. Pocket billiards anyone? Tan Hock Chye was the master of sarcastic comments..I got one that went. “ Good luck for your phyics. You’re going to need it. Lots of it” and the one that went “ You’re going to fail physics. Too bad”. Hahah and he was the master of one liners. “You say ok ok lor”. And he would always add the s at the end of his words.. So it always sounded like physicssssss. Hahaha and he often finished class early so we would always get the hell out of there before time.

Terng- Hahah nice guy. Natfa Failures would know.

Ram- hahah another weird guy. He looked really funny without his moustache at one time.

Ang Ka Soon- Hahah remember the time where he scolded this guy for not stealing a soccer ball. Then he was going “ tou zu qiu he tou qian bao yi yang bu yi yang”. Hahahaha.

Steven- xi di fen, potassium hydroxide, hok, flashbang, xyz… whatever you call him. Master of stupid lines like “hua zhong mei you yi ge ren bu hui dao bi de”. And “you are all shit!” and the famous “the sky so big aeroplanes still crash”. Remember when his own son tried to choke him on an egg in porridge? Or his funny speech about rabbits and a giraffe and eating grass? Hahaha and “ xiu shen qi jia zhi guo ping tian xia”. Damn. I almost miss him.

Lim- The quiet principal. He never really talked much, but when he did everyone liked him. Was going on about our results and how we sure get a1 for chem. And maths. Haha very cool!. Oh and this has nothing to do with lim, but remember the “Xiang3 pi4 bu4 chou4, chou4 pi4 bu4 xiang3, lian2 huan3 pi4 you4 chou4 you4 xiang3” guy.. The one that was clueless we were laughing at him? Hilarious.

Sharifah( 2j people…)- I remember that she was the only teacher I gave Attitude problem to. I scolded her once in class, and there was hell to pay, remember? Haha and my quote about the library. “What do you do when you enter the library? Get out cos there’s nothing worth looking at inside”.

Mel Kheng- the uber cool guy.. Still really like him after all this years cos he awakened us from innocence and naïveté. Still remember the 50 or 0 diagnostic test, still remember the time he killed guangrong. And the time Kiat rolled down the hill. Too cool.

Chen Lao Pok and Tan Wan Yu- Hmm I recalled tan wants you. And chen lau pok and steven koh’s under the table threesome with vixen. Hahahaha. Basically we didn’t like them much =).

Flong- Oops. We didn’t like her much either. “Yu shu zhe bu da” and everything. Oh and the stupid shit she’d pull on us… like homework. And pretending not to hear the recess bell. That was classic.

Vixen- Haha nothing much to say except that she sucked. And when she became our reading programme teacher we nearly had fits. I ran to the toilet for my morning crap everyday to avoid her =).

Hmm yeah that’s about it. I’m really quite happy today! Cos I remembered all this sweet stuff happening and how we were so together! And yeah I love you guys! More than I can say… I wish we could just live through it once again! Though it wouldn’t be so special if it went on forever…

Lastly…

You’re still my sun and stars….

This is tonight's... i'm very emotional tonight...so I don't want to say much..

I’m sorry
I’m sorry…
For the times I’ve let you down,
When I should have done something instead
For the times you looked at me,
But somehow I turned away.
For the times I ignored you,
I was uncertain, afraid.
For the times I’ve stumbled,
Over words I couldn’t say.
For the times I broke and ran away,
When I knew I should have stayed.
For the times I remained inarticulate,
When a kind word would make your day.
For the times I hesitated,
When I should have taken the first step instead.
For the times I made you sad,
When I should have lit your face with joy…
I’m so sorry….
Forgive me, I'm falling....

vous êtes toujours mes soleils et mes étoiles...
(You're still my sun and stars...)

(last night's edition)

Why?
The stars shine brightly,
Burning eternal, simmering embers,
And I revel in their azure glow.
I marvel at the crisscross pattern across my arms,
Watching the play of shadows upon the bare skin.
My heart pounds like a destrier’s charge,
The call to arms sounded and resounded,
There’s no turning back.

My hands twist and knot,
Braiding, weaving, grasping kneading,
The sweat on my palms glistens like night dew,
And the precious parcel slips like water through my trembling digits.
My face contorts in anticipation and concentration,
Shining eyes and quivering lips illuminated,
By the silver caress of the moon.

I take a deep breath and my heart skips a beat,
My feet moving in quickening rhythm.
There she is,
Standing at the door,
Like a Seraph before Heaven’s gate,
A look of searching upon her fine features,
An unreadable crease on her brow.
I gasp and hide behind a wall,
A mere mortal in the presence of my better.
I steal a glance, and alas I’m discovered,
And I give myself to the machinations of fate,
Stepping into the light, so comforting before.

I mumble something,
My brain forms the words,
But they die on my lips like autumn leaves,
A thief has stolen my voice.
A nervous smile touches my lips,
A cascade of inanities escapes.
I venture a look into her eyes,
It feels like forever,
But a blink and it’s gone.

I flee from the scene like a blade’s shadow,
Leaving a garbled farewell.
I cut swiftly through the night,
Which parts to ease my way.
Words in my throat are stuck like honey,
Words in my mind flow freely.
And I’m sure that at that moment,
My cheeks glowed crimson like the dawn,
And darkness itself shrank away.
My heart pounds faster than before,
And I never look back the whole way,
All concept of time and space escapes me.
But something’s wrong with my legs.
I stumble and crash,
My hear and mind rushes up to my body,
And in my head the thought tears it asunder.
Profound regret fills my being,
And all my soul wonders,
Why did I do it again?

Why did I do it again?
